The College of Engineering, Department of Water Resources Engineering, organized a workshop entitled “Artificial Intelligence in the Educational Process: Its Fundamental, Importance and Field of Use,” delivered by the teacher Dr. Muhammad Rashid Zaher for graduate students and students of the fourth stage in the Department of Water Resources Engineering.
The workshop aimed to enhance knowledge of generative AI technology and highlight its potential to improve efficiency and innovation in various fields with a focus on its engineering and technical applications.
The workshop came out with several recommendations, most notably the need to enhance awareness of artificial intelligence techniques by organizing workshops and training courses that explain the concepts of expert systems and their importance, focusing on machine learning as a tool for analyzing data and solving complex problems, as well as studying the applications of the multi-layered perceptron algorithm in areas such as water resources engineering, supporting applied research that explores the use of artificial intelligence in technical challenges, and enhancing cooperation between technological and academic institutions to develop innovative applications while stimulating innovation by establishing business incubators that support promising projects in this field.
