The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad organized an intensive workshop on writing scientific research, targeting students of the fourth stage in conjunction with their graduation project with the aim of providing them with the skills and knowledge necessary to prepare distinguished scientific research, in an important step to support students’ march towards excellence.
The workshop, in which Prof. Younis Qaddouri and Dr. Emad El-Din Abdul Razzaq Salloum lectured, dealt with various aspects of the research writing process, starting from choosing the research topic and setting goals to collecting and analyzing data and writing the research in accordance with recognized academic standards, as well as focusing on the importance of scientific references and how to benefit from them correctly.
On the other hand, the workshop allocated enough time to apply theoretical knowledge through practical exercises and solve the problems that students usually face while writing their research, which contributed to enhancing students’ confidence in their abilities and enabling them to overcome the challenges they may face.
