The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad organized an awareness workshop on the phenomenon of cyberbullying, which has become a major challenge in the university community, in the presence of a group of academics and students, delivered by Dr. Raghad Hassan Al-Sarraj and Dr. Qusai Mahmoud Najm.

The workshop included the definition of the dimensions of this phenomenon, its causes, and its negative effects on the psychological and social health of students and stressed the importance of educating students about the dangers of cyberbullying and how to deal with it, stressing the role of the university and educational institutions in providing a safe environment free from any forms of discrimination and violence.

The workshop dealt with many topics, including the definition of cyberbullying and its various forms, the reasons for the spread of this phenomenon among students, the effects of cyberbullying on mental and academic health, strategies to prevent and combat cyberbullying, the role of social media in the spread of bullying and how to use it safely.

At the end of the workshop, a discussion was opened with the attendees to exchange views and ideas on ways to reduce this phenomenon and cooperate in building a safer and more tolerant university community.
