The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad organized a scientific workshop on the role of women in the scientific field from a comparative religious perspective between Islam and Christianity, under the supervision of Dr. Halim Al-Fatlawi, a teacher in the Department of Comparative Religions, who provided valuable insights and moderated the dialogues with high professionalism.

The workshop included the presentation of a working paper on the role of women in science from the two religious perspectives, which sparked a fruitful dialogue between the participants, and contributed to the exchange of ideas and knowledge between experts and researchers.

The workshop presented comparative analyses between Islamic and Christian visions on the role of women in science, which enriched the dialogue and contributed to a deeper understanding of the issue, and reviewed the success stories of Muslim and Christian women who achieved outstanding scientific achievements, which inspired the attendees and their ambitions, and discussed the challenges facing women in the scientific field and proposed practical solutions to empower them and enhance their role.
