As part of his continuous oversight of university operations, the President of the University of Baghdad, Prof.Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, conducted an inspection visit to the Computer Center. The visit aimed to assess the center’s workflow and evaluate the services it provides.
The visit included a comprehensive tour of the center’s various departments, accompanied by Prof.Dr. Mohammed Jaafar Al-Shamaa, Director of the Electronic Computer Center, and Dr. Samer Sami Hassan, Director of the Ibn Sina Center for E-Learning. During the tour, the president received a detailed briefing on the ongoing activities and technical services available to staff and students. He underscored the need to intensify efforts to deliver superior support to students and employees, noting that the center serves as a cornerstone of the university’s administrative and technological success.
Prof.Dr. Ansaf also unveiled plans to upgrade the center’s infrastructure to match the extensive services it provides and to keep pace with global advancements in technology. He highlighted the university’s intent to partner with a reputable international firm to develop automated information systems across its departments.
The president commended the dedication of the center’s staff and emphasized the critical role the Electronic Computer Center plays in advancing the university’s administrative and technical capabilities. He further praised the commitment to enhancing the university’s digital infrastructure in alignment with its aspirations for digital transformation.
