Students from the Public Relations Department at the College of Mass Communication, University of Baghdad, launched an awareness campaign under the slogan “Women are the Sisters of Men.” The campaign was held under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Mass Communication, Prof.Dr. Ammar Taher, and supervised by the course instructor, Dr. Ria Qahtan.
The campaign aimed to promote human rights awareness and raise consciousness about gender equality among university students. It featured a series of activities and events that highlighted the role of women in society and the importance of achieving justice and equality in various fields.
The activity included an exhibition of awareness posters designed by the students, focusing on enhancing concepts of gender equality and showcasing the role of women as active partners in building society. The posters received significant interaction from both students and faculty members, who praised the meaningful messages they conveyed.
This campaign is part of a series of activities organized by the College of Media at the University of Baghdad, affirming its leading role in preparing a generation of media professionals capable of contributing to building a cohesive society based on the principles of justice and equality.
