The University of Baghdad Council held its ninth session, chaired by Prof.Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, President of the University of Baghdad, with the attendance of the deans of the university’s colleges, to discuss a number of key issues related to the academic and administrative processes. The council issued directives aimed at improving academic performance and managing resources.
The council recommended that all university formations follow up on the final exams for the first semester, emphasizing the importance of deans overseeing the final exams for the first semester of the 2024-2025 academic year to ensure they proceed according to the established plans.
The council also directed the deans to utilize accumulated funds in the Higher Education Fund to complete developmental projects within their respective colleges. Furthermore, the council instructed all formations to regularly monitor the university’s website and stay updated on scientific activities such as conferences, workshops, and seminars scheduled to take place.
Additionally, the council urged the deans to inform department heads of the need to ensure that the amendments proposed by the discussion committees for graduate students’ research papers are completed within the designated timeframe, as these amendments are required for the conferment of degrees.
