As part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, and under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Science for Women, Prof.Dr. Samira Naji Kazem, the college organized an awareness symposium titled “Drugs and Their Impact on Humans.”
The event aimed to enhance efforts to combat drug use and raise awareness of its dangers to individuals and society. It addressed the negative effects of drugs on various health, social, and economic levels and highlighted the vital roles of families, schools, and communities in preventing addiction.
The discussions emphasized the importance of early diagnosis and comprehensive treatment for individuals struggling with addiction. The symposium called for concerted efforts among various institutions to combat the spread of drug use and stressed the need for awareness and support programs that the state should adopt to tackle this issue effectively.
