The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Arts at the University of Baghdad, in cooperation with the Graduate Studies Division, organized a training workshop entitled: “Digital drugs, their harms and ways to confront them” in which the assistant teacher Zahraa Kamel Mohsen lectured, in the presence of a number of professors and employees.
The workshop aimed to introduce the concept of digital drugs and clarify their serious and negative impact on the lives of young people, due to the ease of their rapid spread on websites and the ease of their circulation, as well as knowing the types of digital drugs and their damage to mental and physical health.
In conclusion, the workshop recommended the need to educate children about the danger of this type of drugs, in addition to intensifying awareness campaigns in schools and universities, holding workshops and seminars and educating them about the dangers of using various electronic devices and exploiting their free time by practicing some activities and hobbies.
