The Student Activities Division at the College of Arts at the University of Baghdad organized a volleyball tournament, interspersed with two matches, the first between the College of Pharmacy team and the Ibn Rushd College of Education team, and ended with the victory of the education team with a score of two games to zero for the pharmacy team, and in the second match, the Islamic sciences team was able to beat the College of Languages team with a score of two games to one.
These tournaments aimed to involve students with other colleges of the University of Baghdad in the activities held within the internal curriculum to continue the spirit of competition and communication between them in the sports and entertainment aspect and to support the team of students at the College of Arts with new individuals with skill and physical abilities to contribute to the matches held for students during the university’s activities.
The recommendations came to hold such tournaments throughout the school year and from time to time to get out of stereotypes and change the routine for individuals, as well as strengthen relations between them by putting them in situations different from their similar diaries and providing the arts volleyball team with new individuals who contribute to giving strength to the team.
