President of the University of Baghdad, Prof.Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, visited the Department of Dormitory Affairs building, accompanied by the Director of the Department of Construction and Projects, Prof.Dr. Hatem Khalifa Breesam, and the Director of the Department of Dormitory Affairs, Dr. Mohammad Bahjat Abdul Karim.
This visit is part of the campaign to rehabilitate and develop the dormitory buildings at the University of Baghdad, which aims to improve the infrastructure and services provided to students. The tour included an inspection of the current building facilities and discussions regarding the plan to relocate the Department of Dormitory Affairs to its new designated building.
During the visit, the President of the University of Baghdad emphasized the importance of this step in enhancing the university’s standing and improving the services offered to students, pointing out that the efforts are directed primarily towards serving the nation and, subsequently, serving the university students who represent the future of Iraq.
In turn, the Director of the Department of Construction and Projects explained that work is ongoing to implement development plans based on modern standards that meet the needs of the university. Meanwhile, the Director of the Department of Dormitory Affairs expressed his readiness to facilitate the relocation to the new building and improve the services provided to the students residing in the dormitories.
This visit is part of a series of efforts by the university administration to ensure the provision of a comprehensive educational environment that supports academic progress and contributes to achieving scientific and administrative excellence.
