Ibn Sina E-Learning Center organized a workshop entitled “Children’s Rights and the Extent of their Application within the Iraqi Law and Constitution”, presented by Intisar Hussein.

The workshop aims to focus on the importance of child protection as an essential part of building a strong and cohesive society, as it reviewed the various Iraqi laws related to children’s rights, which include the right to custody, care, education, and protection from violence and exploitation.

Intisar explained in the workshop that Iraqi legislation emphasizes the importance of providing a decent life for children by protecting their rights and preventing all forms of violence, as well as taking measures to ensure a safe and stable environment.

At the end of the workshop, the researcher called for enhancing community awareness of the importance of children’s rights and activating laws that guarantee their protection, stressing the need to spread legal culture to make these rights a tangible reality in society.
