The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at Al-Kindi College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad organized an awareness seminar entitled (The Phenomenon of Cheating in Exams”, within the seminars of the annual plan of the unit, delivered by Prof. Dr. Esraa Muhammad Abdul Khaliq, and targeted a group of students of the second stage in the college.
The seminar aimed to show the damage caused by fraud to the individual and society and highlighted its long-term risks. The seminar dealt with the definition of academic cheating and its importance as a negative phenomenon that affects the educational process and society, as well as discussing the reasons and motives that push students to cheat in exams, with an explanation of the factors affecting this.
For their part, the students showed great interest in the topic and praised the importance of shedding light on this sensitive educational issue.
