The College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad organized the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit within the activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week. It was delivered by Eng. Heba Khazal Mahmoud and in the presence of a number of college students.
The scientific symposium aimed to increase student’s awareness of the potential dangers of electronic cigarettes and their effects on human health in general and oral health in particular.
The scientific symposium also included several axes, the most important of which are: identifying the types of electronic cigarettes and their components and the harms they cause to human health as well as the respiratory system and increasing the chance of serious diseases and their impact on oral health, tooth decay and gum infections.
The symposium recommended not to use electronic cigarettes of all kinds as an alternative to traditional cigarettes, due to their harm to human health and oral health.
