The Rehabilitation and Employment Unit at College of Education for Humanities (Ibn Rushd), University of Baghdad, Organizes a Workshop on “Educational and Training Platforms and Their Role in Developing Soft and Hard Skills”

In collaboration with the Department of History at the College, the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit organized a scientific workshop titled “Educational and Training Platforms and Their Role in Developing Soft and Hard Skills”, with presentations by Assist.Prof.Dr. Sundus Ghani Araibi and Assistant Lecturer Zahraa Abbas Shamkhi.

The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of technical knowledge for employees in any job, field, or profession. It emphasized the necessity for employees to acquire skills such as communication, collaboration, and critical thinking to excel in their roles and achieve professional growth.

The workshop also emphasized that technical skills alone and bridging skill gaps are insufficient when focusing solely on hiring new individuals with new technical skills. Instead, it advocated for a continuous cycle of development and innovation for current employees, supporting them and fostering a culture of learning and self-improvement. It encouraged employees to consistently acquire new technical knowledge with every update.
