The team of the Technological Incubator and Ecosystem Division at the University of Baghdad organized a field visit to a number of colleges and universities during the activities of Global Entrepreneurship Week, where the team included both teacher Dr. Haider Majid Abdul Hamid, responsible for the Technological Incubator and Ecosystem Division, and a number of members of the Academic Division, within the framework of the University of Baghdad’s interest in promoting innovation and supporting entrepreneurial activities.
The visit included follow-up lectures and workshops aimed at developing students’ skills in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship, where models of innovative projects and entrepreneurial ideas were reviewed. The activities carried out in the various universities were also evaluated, which included holding training seminars and discussion workshops on the importance of entrepreneurship and promoting a culture of innovation among students. The visits included several colleges, including the College of Education and Mustansiriya Sciences, the College of Fundamentals of Religion, and Al-Farabi University College
During its tour, the team stressed the importance of cooperation between Iraqi universities and supporting pioneering projects that contribute to preparing a generation capable of facing the challenges of the labor market and achieving sustainable development.
At the end of the visit, the team appreciated the efforts of the administrations of universities and colleges participating in the success of the activities of Global Entrepreneurship Week, calling for the continuation of such events that contribute to supporting and developing youth energies.
