The College of Islamic Sciences organized a training course entitled “Combating Drugs: Enhancing Community Awareness and Protecting Students from Addiction”, within the framework of the continuous efforts to combat drugs and promote health awareness in the community, and in the presence of a number of teachers and students.
This course aims to raise awareness about the dangers of drugs and their negative impact on the health and future of young people, where many key topics were addressed, including the definition of addiction, psychological and social factors that lead to drug abuse, and ways of prevention and treatment.
The course included a range of interactive activities aimed at enhancing the life skills of young people, such as how to reject social pressures and deal with crises. This course represents an important step towards building a society aware and capable of facing the challenges related to the dangers of drugs, which contributes to protecting the next generation and promoting safety and health values.
