The College of Administration and Economics, Entrepreneurship Unit, organized Global Entrepreneurship Week, which included various activities.

The opening began with the speech of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Sabah Manfi Reda, who stressed the importance of leadership in the lives of students and how their pioneering ideas can contribute to building a better society as it is a way of life and work and not just slogans or words, which is a motivation to transform challenges into opportunities to advance the country’s economy, stressing the importance of active participation this week to create an ideal environment for our students and professors, as it is a great opportunity to discover students’ talents, after which the Head of the Department of Business Administration, Prof. Dr. Firas Muhammad Ismail, gave his speech on the occasion in which he praised the efforts made by the organizers of the celebration to highlight the importance of entrepreneurship and its role in economic and social development.

A dialogue session was organized moderated by the teacher, Dr. Muhammad Khalil Hameed, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Salah Awwad Al-Kubaisi and Prof. Dr. Sana Abdul Rahim from the Department of Business Administration, which included discussing the challenges faced by entrepreneurs and how to overcome them and how to prepare a successful business plan to start the project, with many examples of major international companies and their experience in entrepreneurship, highlighting the importance of innovation, entrepreneurship, and guidance for obtaining funding for emerging projects to provide students with the necessary knowledge to transform their ideas into realistic projects.

After that, discussions were opened with the professors and students of the college, which inspired the students and strengthened their ideas, which created an interactive atmosphere among the participants, and the student Mariwan Ibrahim Shawani from the Department of Accounting, the second stage, gave a lecture entitled “Enhancing Education by Integrating Technology and Artificial Intelligence in the Telegram application.” The Entrepreneurship Week continues with its activities, where the college students will present their experiences with entrepreneurship and an overview of their projects and the challenges they faced during their work.
