The College of Nursing at the University of Baghdad organized a workshop entitled (The Theory of the Right and Left Hemisphere of the Brain, Fact or Myth) in which Eng. Sarah Kamel Shafie lectured and attended by a number of college professors and students of preliminary studies.
The workshop aimed to introduce the attendees to the concepts of the theory of shedding the study of the right and left hemispheres of the brain, to promote the concept of theory in society, they use the left part of the brain more than the right or vice versa, and some of you may believe in the validity of this theory as well, and most likely some of us have been exposed before to online tests aimed at determining whether you use the right or left part of your brain. Given the popularity of this theory, you may be surprised to learn that there are many fallacies about it and that there is recent research proving it wrong.
The workshop recommended that humans understand that the human brain works as an integrated system and stay away from programs that claim to train only one side of the brain.
