The College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad organized a training workshop titled “Diagnosis and Management of Prostate Cancer in Iraq: Addressing the Challenge of Assessing Borderline Lesions,” with the participation of a distinguished group of urologists, oncologists, radiologists, and pathologists.
The workshop focused on the challenges related to the diagnosis and management of prostate cancer, highlighting the difficulty in evaluating borderline lesions and the impact of overestimation or underestimation on patient care.
The workshop featured interactive sessions and scientific discussions led by specialized experts. It covered precise diagnostic methods, the evaluation of high-grade lesions using the PIRAD system, and modern strategies for prostate cancer treatment. The workshop also emphasized the importance of adopting a multidisciplinary approach to ensure high-quality healthcare and improved treatment outcomes.
