The College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad organized a training workshop titled “Psoriasis: A Major Health Challenge and a New Era in Biological Therapy,” with the participation of a distinguished group of dermatologists, medical researchers, and specialists in psoriasis treatment.

The event focused on the health burden posed by psoriasis and the latest advancements in biological therapies, which have revolutionized patient care and improved health outcomes. It included research presentations and scientific discussion sessions led by specialized experts. These sessions covered the mechanisms of psoriasis development, its associated comorbidities, and the latest advancements in biological therapies. The discussions also emphasized strategies for managing comorbid conditions and developing treatment plans aimed at improving patients’ quality of life.

The workshop targeted dermatologists, general practitioners, medical researchers, medical students, and specialists interested in the management and modern treatments of psoriasis. Its goal was to enhance their knowledge and update their therapeutic skills.
