The College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad organized a workshop on anesthesia, intensive care, and pain medicine, where it presented a number of lectures with presentations of the most advanced topics in anesthesia, critical care, and pain management with a presentation of the most prominent recent developments in anesthesia for thoracic surgery, anesthesia for maxillofacial surgery, updates in pain medicine and how to use echocardiography in anesthesia and useful aspects of using ultrasound imaging in a critical care environment.

The workshop targeted anesthesiologists, intensive care specialists, and pain medicine doctors interested in obtaining updates or interested in knowing the news in their fields from Iraqi and Arab doctors with the participation of consultants Dr. Laila Ali, Dr. Alaa Al-Taie, and Dr. Osama Al-Hasani from the Department of Medical City, consultant Dr. Hassan Sarhan, Director of the Training and Development Division at the Arab Board, Dr. Consultant Dr. Wassan Sarhan from the United Arab Emirates, and a large crowd of consultants, specialists and students of the Iraqi and Arab Board.
