The College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad organized a training workshop entitled “Neonatal Resuscitation Program: Knowledge and Skills”, with the participation of a group of neonatology doctors, pediatricians, and specialists in neonatal intensive care.
The workshop focused on developing basic skills in neonatal resuscitation, with a focus on updated protocols and modern guidelines to ensure high-quality emergency care for newborns. The workshop included intensive practical training sessions under the supervision of specialists, during which the basic principles of neonatal resuscitation, improving skills through practical exercises, and learning about updated instructions in dealing with emergency cases were reviewed.
The workshop targeted neonatians, neonatal fellows, pediatricians, pediatric residents, neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) nurses, and medical students interested in neonatal care, to enhance their competencies and improve their response in emergencies.
