The Market Research and Consumer Protection Center at the University of Baghdad organized a workshop entitled (Narcotic Plants, Ways of Prevention and Awareness) delivered by the lecturer in the Department of Commodity Evaluation and Service Performance, Dr. Ibtisam Farid Ali.
The workshop aimed to achieve important awareness aspects in the field of consumer and community health and maintain their security. The workshop included a detailed explanation of some types of narcotic plants, their most important compounds, spread, and uses, pointing to ways to prevent their risks.
The workshop also referred to the statement and importance of community health awareness in this regard because of its great impact on the life of the individual and society, and to protect the consumer from potential risks.
