The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad launched an extensive awareness campaign to reduce the phenomenon of illegal immigration, as part of the comprehensive national plan initiated by the Federal Integrity Commission.

The campaign included a variety of awareness activities, such as distributing posters, flyers, and brochures carrying messages about the dangers of illegal immigration and its negative impact on individuals and society. The college also organized discussion and awareness sessions for students in the gardens and corridors of the college, offering advice and guidance on how to avoid falling into the traps of human traffickers and the risks associated with illegal immigration.

The campaign received a strong response from students, who actively participated in distributing and posting the materials around the college. Students emphasized the importance of the campaign in raising their awareness about the dangers of illegal immigration and their role in combating this phenomenon.

Dr. Ni’ma Dahesh Farhan, the Dean of the college, stated, “This campaign reflects the college’s commitment to educating students on the importance of staying in the country and contributing to its development. The college will continue its efforts in this regard by organizing more awareness activities and initiatives.”
