The College of Administration and Economics, through the Continuing Education Unit and in collaboration with the Operations Research Department, organized a workshop titled “Enhancing Organizational Performance Quality Using Queue Theory.” The workshop was delivered by Assist.Prof.Dr. Omar Mohammed Al-Ashari, a faculty member in the department.
The workshop aimed to explore how queue theory can be utilized to improve the quality of organizational performance by analyzing and enhancing operations management, reducing waiting times, and improving customer experience. Queue theory seeks to understand and optimize the performance of waiting systems by minimizing wait times and costs.
Its significance lies in its ability to increase efficiency, enhance customer experience, and improve employee performance. Among its advantages are cost reduction, improved customer satisfaction, and increased operational efficiency.
