The College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad hosted a workshop entitled (Adopting the Electronic Management Program as a Step for Digital Transformation in the Department of Graduate Studies Affairs and Raising the Efficiency of Administrative Performance) organized by the Department of Graduate Studies Affairs at the Presidency of the University of Baghdad, in the presence of the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, Prof. Dr. Hussein Qasim Hussein, Director of the Department of Graduate Studies Affairs, and the assistants of the deans for scientific affairs and directors of graduate studies divisions in the formations of the university.
The workshop dealt with the presentation of the most important features of the program, including organizing documents based on the number and date in the database, immediate search for documents, as well as securing data electronically against loss or damage compared to the paper system, and the ability to view the document for more than one user at one time, as well as communicating with formations inside and outside the university to improve the speed of communication, and providing a complete record of correspondence through the ticket system and mail tracking.
This step comes within the directions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the University of Baghdad, which aim to automate administrative work in all its joints and keep pace with technical and technological development to serve the educational process and our country, Iraq.
