During its sixth session, held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, the Council of the University of Baghdad directed the need to diversify scientific research, focus on publishing research that serves the community, and encourage publication in international repositories and internationally ranked journals.

This directive comes within the framework of the university’s endeavor to enhance its academic position globally and support scientific innovation. The Council discussed a number of points aimed at enhancing the university’s role in community service and developing its academic and administrative system, and a set of important directives were issued that represent basic steps towards achieving these goals.

The session witnessed the assignment of the Assistant President of the University of Baghdad for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Amir Faisal Abdul Amir, to follow up on the issue of calculator allocations, and to develop a comprehensive plan commensurate with the university’s plan for digital transformation in the coming years to ensure that the university’s needs and entitlements in this field are met.

The Council stressed the importance of communicating with the security authorities through official channels and approved administrative contexts, to ensure accuracy and flow and achieve optimal coordination with the relevant authorities.

These directives reflect the university’s vision toward achieving its strategic objectives in community service and developing academic and research performance, in line with modern scientific and technological developments.
