On October 27, the College of Pharmacy at the University of Baghdad held an awareness event focusing on the latest updates on breast cancer. The activity was organized under the auspices of the college administration, supervised by the Women’s Affairs Unit, and conducted in collaboration with the Media and Government Communication Division and the Supporting Committee for Volunteer Work.
The event included several segments, starting with an art exhibition featuring works created by the talented hands of the students. The exhibition showcased paintings, handmade crafts related to the occasion, a charity bazaar, and scientific posters prepared by students under faculty supervision. These posters covered various aspects of breast cancer, emphasizing the importance of early detection, prevention, and different treatment methods.
The primary goal of such activities was to strengthen the bond between students and their professors in an enjoyable and engaging manner, break the routine of the academic day, and encourage students’ talents and small projects.
