The Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance at the Presidency of the University of Baghdad organized a workshop tagged (National Standards for Accreditation of Science Specialization Programs), in cooperation with the National Council for Science Specialties at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and in the presence of the President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf.
The workshop aimed to adopt national standards for granting a bachelor’s degree in science disciplines to be compatible with international standards and meet the requirements of the local public and private market. The workshop included the definition of the pillars of the educational system and the need to meet those pillars consisting of administration, planning, student, academic, infrastructure, and the availability of financial support to form a successful educational system compatible with the objectives of the institution.
The workshop also recommended the need to have the pillars of the educational system and apply them fully to achieve the outputs of those curricula by working to achieve educational goals.
