The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Mass Communication, University of Baghdad, organized a workshop titled “The State Employees Disciplinary Law,” which was delivered by Prof. Dr. Ikhlas Hameed Hamza.
The workshop aimed to highlight the key administrative and legal procedures for violations of laws and regulations, as well as the penalties that can be imposed on employees under the State Employees Disciplinary Law.
The session covered the duties required of employees to perform their work correctly, the prohibitions outlined in Article 5 of the State Employees Disciplinary Law, and the penalties specified in Article 8 of the same law in the event of any violations by employees. This training workshop is part of a series of programs and training sessions offered by the College of Mass Communication to develop employees’ skills and capabilities in various fields and to enhance their positive role in society.
It is worth noting that the State Employees Disciplinary Law was enacted to grant ministers and department heads the necessary authority to impose prescribed penalties to ensure the efficient operation of state agencies in accordance with the requirements of their assigned tasks.
