The Higher Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies organized a workshop titled “Preparing the State Budget: Aligning Government Program Directions with the Aspirations of Current and Future Generations,” in collaboration with the Akkad Center for Economic and Financial Studies. The workshop was led by the Dean of the Institute, Certified Public Accountant Prof.Dr. Ali Mohammed Thjeel Al-Mamouri.
The workshop covered how government program orientations can align with the needs and aspirations of current and future generations to ensure the improvement of public services. It also addressed how to manage financial resources in a way that ensures long-term sustainability and the importance of involving both current and future generations in the decision-making process to ensure that the budget reflects their needs and aspirations.
The workshop concluded that an effective and efficient budget should balance the needs of current generations while also ensuring the fulfillment of future generations’ aspirations.
