The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Baghdad, in collaboration with the Training and Development Section of Administrative Affairs Department of the Ministry of Culture, organized professional development courses for Ministry of Culture employees on the concept of quality management.
A faculty member delivered the training course modules on quality management, along with a lecture on the fundamentals of accounting. The aim was to enable participants to comprehend accounting terminology, understand the nature of accounts receivable and payable, and effectively use them. Moreover, the course emphasized the use of financial data to extract and interpret essential information for making informed decisions, irrespective of the participants’ prior specialization.
The course also featured a lecture on feasibility studies and economic project evaluation, designed to provide ministry employees with additional expertise in assessing the viability of projects.
