Dr. Alaa Abdul Khaleq Hussein Al-Mandlawi, a faculty member in the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Baghdad, participated in the Third International Conference on Computing and Artificial Intelligence in Italy. The conference was organized by a group of prestigious universities from around the world.
During the event, Dr. Mandlawi delivered a research paper titled “The Role of Artificial Intelligence Applications in Enhancing Teaching Quality: A Case Study in Iraq.” The research discussed the potential benefits of artificial intelligence applications in improving the skills of Arabic language teachers and developing their teaching methods.
The research also discussed the challenges facing the application of artificial intelligence in education and offered recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of these applications. Based on the research findings, Dr. Al-Mandlawi proposed a set of recommendations for integrating artificial intelligence applications into teacher training programs, providing necessary resources to support the use of these applications in schools, and fostering collaboration among researchers in the fields of education and information technology.
Dr. Mandlawi’s research received significant appreciation from the audience for presenting innovative ideas in the utilization of artificial intelligence in education. Furthermore, the research papers will be published in the Scopus database with proper archiving, and Dr. Mandlawi has been awarded the Scientific Creativity and Professional Innovation Medal for achieving the highest rating at the conference. This achievement reflects positively on the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad, underscoring its prestigious position in scientific research. It also highlights the college’s commitment to developing the skills of its faculty members and supporting their participation in international conferences.
