The College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad organized the sixteenth edition of the Radio and Television Festival under the slogan (Loyalty to Gaza), in the presence of the President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, and the President of the Iraqi Media Network, Mr. Karim Hammadi, as well as a number of teachers and students.

The festival included the participation of about seventy television works. where it won first place in the category of best television report (The International Train Station), while first place was won by the short feature film entitled (Tick Tech in Paris) and for the category of best investigation film (Slavery in Iraq), and in the category of best television advertisement came in first place entitled (iced coffee), while the winner won first place in the category of deco drama (inspired by the certificate), and for the category of diverse works won first place (Gaza children will not be subject), while for the short documentary and documentary film, it won first place entitled (Perpetuate the Earth).

All members of the committee supervising the winning works of the festival were honored. The committee consisted of a group of professors and experts from within the College of Mass Communication and four from outside the college headed by Prof. Dr. Wissam Fadel Radi, and conclusion shields and certificates of appreciation were distributed to the winners.
