The University of Baghdad hosted the Iraqi Private Banks League as part of the Financial Inclusion Week, sponsored by the Central Bank of Iraq. Approximately 40 banks, both Iraqi and non-Iraqi, participated in the event.

The aim of the hosting was to acquaint academics and staff with the services provided by banks to employees, as well as the benefits offered by these banks such as loans, deposits, and financial transfers for citizens. Banks, electronic payment companies, and financial institutions presented services including free bank account opening, issuance of prepaid electronic cards, and introduced attendees to the advantages of the financial wallet and its use in electronic transactions.
