In collaboration with the Ministry of Transport and under the auspices of Prime Minister, Mr.Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani, the University of Baghdad inaugurated its new campus public transportation line. Prof.Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, President of the University of Baghdad, stated that the university has worked to provide modern buses adapted for student transportation within the university campus, aiming to enhance educational mobility in the country.

He further noted that the transportation fares on these buses will be symbolic and serve the student community. He pointed out that the university is introducing a new method for payment through the utilization of electronic payment services (POS), in coordination with specialized companies.

In response, Minister of Transport, Mr.Razzaq Muhaibis affirmed that the ministry has devised a new strategy for public transportation, aiming to facilitate transportation within the University of Baghdad and residential areas in the capital Baghdad. This strategy involves opening new routes and adding modern, air-conditioned vehicles to serve both students and citizens.
