The Public Law Department at the College of Law, University of Baghdad, held a symposium titled “AlSCO Portal for Sciences,” delivered by lecturer in the Public Law Department, Assist.Lecturer. Russel Hussein Hassan.

The event aimed to introduce the AlSCO portal for sciences and explain how to create a personal page for each researcher and academic, linking it with their other pages on other science portals such as ResearchGate, Google Scholar, ORCID, Scopus, as well as social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others.

The activity covered several topics, with the first session focusing on introducing the AlSCO portal for sciences. The second session explained the program’s objectives, which revolve around enhancing the skills of registered researchers on the platform. The third session addressed the practical aspect, detailing the program’s operation mechanism, registration process, and account creation.

The symposium concluded with several recommendations, notably emphasizing the importance of guiding professors, researchers, and postgraduate students to register on the AlSCO portal for sciences to leverage its services and capabilities in scientific research.
