The Educational and Psychological Guidance Unit at the Al-Khwarizmi College of Engineering, University of Baghdad, held a workshop on student guidance for university graduation ceremonies. The event was led by Dr. Alaa Kareem Mohammed, Head of the Department of Biochemical Engineering, and Dr. Ibtisam Hadi.

The workshop aimed to familiarize third and fourth-year students with university graduation ceremonies, their significance, and the preparation required by both students and officials. This included the development of a specific ceremony agenda and the recognition of high-achieving students.

Key topics covered in the workshop included guidance on adhering to ministerial and university regulations to maintain the students’ image of civility and sophistication. It emphasized avoiding inappropriate behavior that contradicts public decorum, as well as discouraging the use of posters and stickers that do not align with university guidelines. Furthermore, the activity emphasized the importance of students respecting societal customs and traditions, as they reflect the civilized nature of our university community.
