The University of Baghdad held today an extensive meeting with the directors of departments in the Rectory of the university and the assistants of the deans for scientific, administrative, and student affairs, to discuss a number of important issues related to the educational and research process at the university, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, Rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, Assistant Rector of the University for Scientific Affairs, and Dr. Amir Faisal Abdul Amir, Assistant Rector for Administrative Affairs.
The meeting discussed evaluating the university’s performance during the current academic year, the university’s future plans, and ways to improve the quality of education and scientific research, as well as addressing the challenges facing the educational process at the university.
Prof. Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, Rector of the University of Baghdad, stressed the importance of teamwork to achieve the university’s goals, stressing the need to exert more efforts to improve the quality of education and scientific research and raise the university’s classification at the global level, and the Rector of the University of Baghdad called for the need to strengthen cooperation between the university and the various sectors in society to serve the Iraqi society and achieve the goals of sustainable development.
