The College of Nursing at the University of Baghdad celebrated the activities of the fourth consecutive day of World Entrepreneurship Week, as the activities opened with the speech of the Dean, in which he welcomed the attendees and participants in promoting the culture of entrepreneurship across youth and all segments of society and raising their awareness of its role in supporting the economy, as well as highlighting intellectual axes and entrepreneurial experiences by encouraging young people and innovators who launch emerging ideas and projects to achieve their ideas on the ground in all fields of entrepreneurship to create productive and impressive projects in the economy.

Within the curriculum of the activities of the fourth day of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, a symposium was held (on the basics of entrepreneurship) and aimed at raising awareness of the basics of entrepreneurship. It included several axes, the most important of which are the basics of entrepreneurship, legal, and the negatives of entrepreneurship in Iraq and the economic environment. The lecturers and the lecturers discussed many motivational topics to motivate young people in entrepreneurship.

The symposium recommended urging and encouraging young people to innovate ideas that can be the nucleus of successful projects and that the fear of failure is not an obstacle to this, as well as finding solutions to problems that Iraqi society suffers from, especially in the field of nursing, such as innovating new scientific methods and means in providing nursing care.

The Dean of the College concluded the activities of the fourth day by saying, “The Global Entrepreneurship Week” which is celebrated at the local, regional, and global levels every year, reflects the real opportunity to spread the culture of entrepreneurship among youth groups, encourage and motivate them to enter the door of entrepreneurship, establish their projects and innovate ideas that address the problems of society and the economy.
