The College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad organized a series of seminars, workshops, and seminars for the second day in a row on the occasion of International Entrepreneurship Day and in the presence of a number of graduate students and faculty members in the college.
A workshop entitled (Histological Evaluation of the Local Application of Hemipheral Mesenchymal Stem Cells and Platelet-Rich Fibrin Matrix / Osteoplasty 9 on Bone Healing) was organized by Dr. Enas Fadel Kazim, and the panel discussion aimed to evaluate the effect of peripheral blood stem cells and platelet-rich fibrin matrix with osteosynthetic protein 9 and their combination on healing by histological analysis.
A panel discussion entitled (The Effect of Exclusive Breastfeeding on Infant Growth Status and Timing of Tooth Appearance about Genetic Differences of BMP4 and HMGA2 Genes, Maternal Oral Health and the State of Association Between them) was also organized by PhD student Shaima Thabet Saleh, and the panel discussion aimed to clarify the effect and association of feeding pattern on infant development, facial development, genetic differences in addition to the impact of maternal conditions (oral health and bonding state) on infant variables.
A panel discussion entitled (Epidemiology of Dental Support Tissue Diseases) was also organized by master’s student Rana Hamid Jabr, which aimed to understand the basics of epidemiology and identify the relationship between periodontal disease and public health.
In addition, a seminar entitled (Preparation and Characterization of Metal Powders for Titanium Compounds and Targeted Titanium Diboride for Dental Implant Materials) was organized and delivered by graduate student Ali Muhammad Ali, which aimed to identify how to use powders to make implants with porosity and manufacture implants with dimensions sense of demand and not to rely on ready-made cast metal and that implants can be used in the jaw bones are insufficient for regular implants. The seminar also gives important information about international journals in the containers of Scopus and Web of Science that own an impact laboratory and site score and are indexed within the first or second quarter globally.
