Recently, the College of Science at the University of Baghdad published the eighth issue of the Iraqi Journal of Science, which is part of its sixty-fourth volume for the year 2023, due to the journal’s adoption of the system for receiving and evaluating research electronically.

The eighth issue comprises a total of (46) research papers, distributed across various scientific disciplines as follows: (6) papers in chemical sciences, (7) papers in life sciences, (6) papers in biotechnology, (1) paper in physical sciences, (5) papers in earth sciences, (9) papers in mathematical sciences, (9) papers in computer sciences, (1) paper in astronomy and space, and (2) papers in remote sensing.

It’s worth noting that the Iraqi Journal of Science is equipped with a Digital Object Identifier (DOI:10.24996/ijs ) and registered on Research Gate. Furthermore, it holds a Scopus ranking of (Q3) and it has an impact factor of (0.8). This journal is a quarterly peer- refereed scientific publication committed to disseminating high-quality scientific research in both applied and pure sciences.
