Prof.Dr.MunirA-Saadi, Rector of the University of Baghdad, chaired an electronic meeting via (Meet) program, which was attended by Mr.Rami Awad, the Regional Manager of Middle East and Africa of British QS Ranking, in addition to Director of the Department of Quality Assurance and Academic Performance, Dr.Omar Faleh Hassan, a number of esteemed professors of Quality Assurance Department at our University.
At the outset of the meeting, the participants discussed the significance of the four QS rankings for the University of Baghdad, and the importance of enrolling the University in the QS Rating program; Moreover, they explained the QS rankings mechanism and chose the best Universities in the world. It was emphasized that this ranking is to identify the University’s strengths.
The convening of these meetings comes within the endeavors of our university to enhance its position in international rankings, advantage from the expertise of international organizations to develop the university, and to keep pace with the development of higher education and scientific research internationally within the accredited quality standards.
