The Continuing Education Center at the University of Baghdad organized a two-week skills development course for new staff who hold postgraduate degrees, in the presence of the Rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid Al-Saadi, and the Director of the Quality Assurance and Academic Performance Department, Dr. Omar Faleh Hassan, in which a number of university professors lectured.
The course schedule included several axes: legal aspects and linguistic errors, as well as quality standards, ethics of the teaching profession, scientific promotions, and the mechanism of publishing research, presentation skills, delivery and strategic planning. It is worth noting that the symposium was prepared at the request of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
