Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, the rector of the University of Baghdad, has inspected the College of Education for Women and was received by the dean of the college, Assist. Prof. Dr. Athmar Shaker Majeed al-Shatri, accompanied by her assistants for administrative and scientific affairs. During his tour in a number of classrooms for female postgraduate students (doctorate, master’s and higher diploma degrees) at various scientific departments, the rector was briefed on the nature of the exam questions and the extent of their diversity and comprehensiveness in alignment with the prescribed curricula and the kind of tasks conducted by the members of the examination committees and the measures taken by the deanship for enabling students to pass their exams in an appropriate academic atmosphere, praising the level of good organization and taking into account the preventive measures stressed by government health measures.

The dean of the college confirmed that the exams were launched in nine specialized departments, which are conducted in an in-person manner, where more than (160) students have participated in, confirming the application of all controls and instructions issued by the ministry of higher education and scientific research and stressing the maximum preventive measures to preserve the health and safety of all those involved. Dr. Munir al-Saadi then expressed his thanks and appreciation for the efforts made by the members of the examination and other support committees in providing the necessary supplies that ensure the success of this process according to the highest standards of transparency, expressing his confidence in the ability of the college’s administration to overcome the difficulties and obstacles that stand in the way of the educational process including the challenges imposed by social conditions on the education sector.
