The College of Engineering held a scientific lecture on (Water Saturation Determination Techniques), organized by the SPE – University of Baghdad Chapter delivered by Prof. Ayman Muhammad Abdullah from the Basra Oil Company in the presence of a number of faculty members and a large number of students of the Department of Petroleum Engineering, where it was chaired by Dr. Omar Faleh Hassan, supervisor of the SPE – University of Baghdad Chapter.
Prof. Ayman Muhammad explained during his speech that he aims to introduce the students of the undergraduate studies to certain topics that can be studied in the field of petroleum engineering as well as the need for publishing research in Scopus journals, focusing on new research topics when writing graduation projects, especially in calculating water saturation in oil formations, the use of seismic data and artificial intelligence methods to enrich the student knowledge practically.
