The Head of the Department of Architecture Engineering at the College of Engineering, Assist. Prof. Dr. Dergham Mizhar al-Obaidi, has participated in the meetings of the ministerial committee formed to prepare standards for developing public policy to build modern cities that take into account economic identity and contribute to providing proposals and indicators for legislative designs and regulations at the levels of architecture, urban design and planning, which in turn will provide sufficient flexibility in urban spaces, uses and services to keep pace with the rapid technological and information development in building cities as well as population increase, taking into account values of a local social and economic nature.
