Assist. Prof. Dr. Hana Hani al-Saffar, a lecturer from the Natural History Center and Museum, has participated in the meeting sponsored by the Public Health Department at the Ministry of Health, the meeting of the Supreme Committee for the National Strategy for Integrated Management of Vector Control in Iraq within a series of scientific activities and academic cooperation with institutions with interdisciplinary competence.
In the presence of the Director General of the Public Health Department, Dr. Riyad Abdul Amir al-Hilfi, and members of the committee from all ministries and relevant authorities, in coordination with the World Health Organization (WHO). Discussing what has been implemented from the executive plan of the national strategy for integrated management and vector control in Iraq during the first, second and third semesters of 2022 and the most important challenges facing the implementation of the plan. At the end of the meeting, a number of recommendations were taken aimed at controlling disease vectors to prevent the transmission of communicable diseases.
