The college of engineering has recently hosted a workshop sponsored by the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance entitled (Discussing the mechanism of publishing research in international journals and citations), that was headed by Prof. Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdul Majeed and Prof. Dr. Fikrat Majeed Hassan. The workshop was initiated by the Director of the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance at the presidency of the University of Baghdad, Dr. Omar Faleh Hassan, in the presence of a number of the dean of the college of engineering, Prof. Dr. Saba Jabbar Nima Al-Khafaji and a number of faculty members.
